Jill E. Redwine

Jill concentrates her practice in the areas of litigation, patent, trademark, copyright and Internet law as well as licensing and transactional matters.

Jill recently graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law where she was fifth in her class. She is a member of Phi Delta Phi honorary society and a recipient of CALI Awards for the Innocence Clinic, for ADR of Family Law and Patent Law and for The Framing of the Constitution. Jill was one of only eight students recently selected to participate in the Innocence Clinic at OCU, the only such clinic in Oklahoma. The clinic organizes students into teams to develop theories of innocence and investigative strategies for individuals who may have been wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not commit.

Before attending law school, Jill received her B.A. in English and Political Science in May 1998 from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. After college, Jill was a middle school teacher from 1998 through 2010. She also served as a legislative intern in the Oklahoma House of Representatives during the summer of 2008. As an intern, she served as the assistant editor for the 2008 Session in Review, a publication summarizing all bills passed during the legislative session. Jill’s additional experience includes work with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture where she redesigned databases and assessed the accuracy of software programs.

As an undergraduate, Jill was a charter member of her Delta Delta Delta chapter and served as Vice President of Administration and Vice President of Membership. Additionally, she was among a handful of students selected to participate in the events commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Winston Churchill’s Sinews of Peace Speech (the Iron Curtain Speech). Those events included a re-creation of Churchill’s visit and culminated with an address by the then Prime Minister of Great Britain, Margaret Thatcher.

Prior to joining Dunlap Codding, Jill was employed at Niemeyer, Alexander, Austin & Phillips in Oklahoma City as a law clerk assisting attorneys with research and litigation matters and by Byers & Associates, an Oklahoma City law firm, as a law clerk assisting attorneys in the areas of family and criminal law.
