WINNIE-THE-POOH GOES TO COURT
Disney was handed a defeat by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in a lawsuit involving Winnie-the-Pooh. It is alleged that Disney used deception, coercion, and intimidation to acquire the rights to distribute goods based upon the character. The most amazing piece of information: the Pooh character brings in more than $5 billion a year to Disney.
