CHINESE PATENT AROUSAL
China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and the China Association for Science and Technology announced here Tuesday that they will arouse and organize a public promotion for patent awareness.
In conjunction with this announcement, a Chinese website on intellectual property rights was launched by the SIPO. The website will provide intellectual property news, a data bank, information searches, on-line opinion exchanges and patent services, said Hu Yiming, general manager of the company that designed and maintains the website. The website is expected to provide over 10,000 items of patent information a year.
