Do you ever need/want to check your e-mail on the go? For example, you may be traveling and would like to know what's happening with your inbox. mail2web lets you check your e-mail from any computer with a Web browser. All you have to do is type in your e-mail address and password, and mail2web does the rest. It's simple, secure, and fast. If you really enjoy the service you can also register with them. This allows you to have your own personal homepage, a contact list, and more. Don't fret, mail2web doesn't download or delete the messages off of the server, but merely shows you what messages are waiting on the server. You can delete the messages if you like, but you can reply to and forward the messages as well.
This was a great and timely tip from Lockergnome -- while out of town last week, I used the service a couple of times from the complimentary airport club and hotel internet access sites. Worked perfectly and allowed me to check email without firing up my laptop. No more Yahoo or Hotmail POP services -- simply use mail2web. Douglas
