It is getting very "springy" here in Oklahoma and folks are getting a bit goofy - so, I guess it should come as no surprise that we have been chuckling about this snippet from my RSS reader tonight...

didn't know where else to pose this question, so I thought I'd try you guys. I am aware of a case where a guy under contract with a company allegedly filed patents for them under his own name. He now claims that the USPTO examined ownership issues and awarded him the patent.
My question is: Does the USPTO get involved in disputes between parties over who owns a patent?
Is what this guy is claiming likely true or is this just a case of his patent not being contested. Help me out if you can. Thanks.
